Alexis started dancing at age three, training at various Dance Studios in Edmonton, her love for ballet and modern developed. Over the years, dancing has taken her to Las Vegas, the Bahamas, Kamloops, Whistler, Kewlona, Calgary, New York, and Banff for various competitions and workshops. In addition, Alexis will be attending the Aberdeen Youth Festival in Scotland for two weeks of dance fun in the summer of 2010 with Chameleon Dance.
Currently Alexis trains with both Chameleon Dance Edmonton and Citie Ballet, as well as teaches around the city. She was first introduced to Citie Ballet during last season’s collaboration with Chameleon Dance, “Transcendance”, and is now excited to be in her first season with the company. Alexis is grateful to be able to be a part of two great Edmonton companies, and is excited to share her expertise with her dancers.
